BAY CITY, Mich. – The Parkside Rangers baseball team had five student-athletes earn All-GLIAC honors, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Thursday following the 2026 regular season.
Senior Dylan Sayles earned First Team All-GLIAC honors as an outfielder and was also named Second Team All-GLIAC as a utility player. Seniors Benjamin Loyd and Joe Mrowiec were both selected to the Second Team, while seniors Isaiah Terrell and Noah Goddard earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention recognition.

Dylan Sayles earns first-team honors
After earning All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors as a junior in 2025, senior Dylan Sayles collected First Team All-GLIAC recognition as an outfielder and Second Team All-GLIAC honors as a utility player for the first time in his career.
Sayles started 40 games this season, posting a .327 batting average with a .429 on-base percentage and .454 slugging percentage. He totaled 48 hits, including five doubles, two triples and two home runs, while driving in 27 runs, scoring 38 times, drawing 28 walks and stealing 11 bases.
Among GLIAC leaders, Sayles ranked 18th in batting average and sixth in sacrifice bunts with four. Defensively, he committed just five errors all season, recording a .979 fielding percentage with 225 putouts and seven assists.
In conference play, Sayles elevated his performance even further, batting .383 with 31 hits, three doubles, one triple, one home run and 17 RBI. He also posted a .991 OPS in GLIAC action while making only two errors for a .986 fielding percentage.
Benjamin Loyd named to second team
Senior Benjamin Loyd earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors for the first time in his career after putting together a standout 2026 campaign.
Loyd started 45 games for the Parkside Rangers baseball team, batting .369 with a .497 on-base percentage and .429 slugging percentage. He recorded 69 hits, including 14 doubles, two triples and two home runs, while driving in 34 runs, scoring 43 times, drawing 19 walks and stealing 18 bases.
Among GLIAC leaders, Loyd ranked eighth in batting average, ninth in hits, sixth in doubles and ninth in stolen bases. Defensively, he totaled 190 putouts and 65 assists while committing only four errors all season for a .979 fielding percentage.
During conference play, Loyd batted .360 with 36 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, one home run and 18 RBI. He led the GLIAC in doubles during conference action and ranked fourth in both runs scored and hits. Loyd also committed just two errors in league play, finishing with a .983 fielding percentage.
Joe Mrowiec earns second-team selection
Joe Mrowiec earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors for the first time in his career following a standout season for the Rangers. Mrowiec started 38 games, posting a .311 batting average with a .591 slugging percentage and .397 on-base percentage. He recorded 41 hits, including six doubles, two triples and nine home runs, while driving in 40 runs, drawing 19 walks and stealing 10 bases.
Among GLIAC leaders, Mrowiec ranked fourth in home runs, ninth in slugging percentage and 14th in RBI.
Defensively, Mrowiec totaled 79 putouts and 68 assists while committing just nine errors for a .942 fielding percentage on the season.
In conference play, Mrowiec hit .310 with 22 hits, four doubles, five home runs and 22 RBI. He ranked sixth in the GLIAC in both home runs and RBI during conference action. Defensively, he committed only three errors in league play, finishing with a .957 fielding percentage.
Noah Goddard receives honorable mention
Noah Goddard earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors for the first time in his career. Goddard slashed .300/.488/.424 across 80 at bats, totaling 24 hits, six doubles, three triples, 17 RBI, 11 walks and one stolen base. Among GLIAC leaders, he ranked 29th in batting average and 18th in OPS.
Behind the plate, Goddard recorded 122 putouts and 14 assists while committing just six errors for a .960 fielding percentage. He also threw out 11 runners attempting to steal, ranking sixth in the GLIAC.
In conference play, Goddard elevated his production, batting .347 with 17 hits, four doubles, three home runs and 14 RBI. He finished 19th in the GLIAC in conference batting average and ranked 11th in conference OPS at 1.070.
Isaiah Terrell stands out in bullpen role
Isaiah Terrell earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors for the first time in his career after serving as a key arm out of the bullpen for the Rangers. Terrell appeared in 16 games, pitching 23.2 innings while facing 98 batters. He recorded 19 strikeouts and allowed just eight walks, finishing the regular season with a 2.55 ERA. Terrell posted a 1-1 record and collected two saves on the year.
In GLIAC play, Terrell threw 10.1 innings and allowed only three earned runs. He totaled seven strikeouts while issuing just three walks and finished conference action with a 2.61 ERA and two saves. His two saves ranked third in the GLIAC.
As a team, the Rangers finished the regular season 24-23 overall with a 10-14 record in GLIAC play.
