In response to Aug. 28's Ash borer story. For every bad thing in life, there is some good which require some effort. When looking for ideas, some folks form groups for brainstorming or committees, so here is one idea.
Let's develop plans for tiny houses which could be cut to size at the time the trees are being taken down and groups like the veterans or others could utilize and build tiny houses as kits. They could be sold to other groups which would recoup some of the cost of cutting down the trees and provide homes for the vets, like is being done here in Racine. The wood could also be used for different types of building products. It would make great furniture, flooring and many other options.
