My sister and I would like to follow up with another "kudos" for Oak Ridge Care Center, along with Timber Oaks, their assisted living facility.
As Carol Lynn Strempler put so eloquently in The Journal Times on July 15, we too cannot say enough how grateful we were to have found "that place for mom."
Mom needed "rehab" at Oak Ridge and came through with flying colors due to the care given to her by all. Against all odds and doubts at 91 years, she graduated to Timber Oaks, the assisted living facility affiliated with Oak Ridge. There she was treated with such good care and dignity. She went out in style last December with the staff walking compassionately beside us as a family, every step of the way.
