JEFFERSON (AP) - A Waukesha woman was sentenced Thursday to 80 days in jail for lying under oath during an investigation into the murder-for-hire of a Jefferson man.

Jefferson County Circuit Judge Arnold Schumann also sentenced Shannon Johnson, 21, to serve two years probation on the perjury charge and ordered her to pay $90 in court costs.

Johnson was sentenced for lying under oath during a John Doe probe into the death of Ruben Borchardt. His estranged wife, Diane, was convicted of hiring three teen-agers to kill him in April 1994.
