Redesign of expanded Festival Hall convention space, hotel to be unveiled Monday

Dallas developer Gatehouse Capital  proposed building a $48 million, 173-room hotel and convention center that would connect with Festival Hall on Racine's lakefront, as shown in this image provided in June. Details of the project are set to be announced Monday at City Hall, 730 Washington Ave. 

RACINE — Mayor Cory Mason's office announced Saturday that the City unveil its plan to expand convention space at Festival Hall and add a new Downtown Racine hotel Monday. 

Mason, along with representatives from Gatehouse Capital, are expected to unveil the complete redesign of the proposed $48 million expanded convention center at Festival Hall and new hotel at 9 a.m. Monday inside the mayor's office at City Hall, 730 Washington Ave.
