RACINE — The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is expanding its highly successful Veteran Entrepreneurship program to serve veterans in Racine County. A meeting is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Classroom C of Racine County Workforce Solutions, located inside the Dennis Kornwolf County Service Center, 1717 Taylor Ave.
In partnership with Racine County Workforce Solutions, the UW-M Veteran Entrepreneurship program covers topics such as business plan writing, financing options, social marketing, business law and market research. Students can also participate in veteran peer groups and take advantage of business mentoring opportunities.
