Sheard, Dean Park, age 90, of Honey Creek, Wisconsin, joined his wife Marlene (nee. Gendrich) in Heaven on Sunday February 9, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving family, ending his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Dean was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on November 6, 1929, to Leonard and Nellie (nee. Park) Sheard. He graduated from Rochester Ag School. Dean and Marlene were married on November 28, 1953. They were able to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary together in November of 2018. They lived most of their lives in the Honey Creek area in a house that Dean built that truly became a loving “home” for his family.
Dean was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard. He was a Pattern Maker by trade. He started his own business, DeMar Cake Stop, making wedding and all occasion cakes for 50 years. He also made time to be a Boy Scout Leader for the Honey Creek Troop 309. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting and taking his family on many camping trips.
Dean is survived by his loving Children: Gail (Terry) Tomkowiak, Cheri (Tom) Moriva, Craig (Susie) Sheard, Karen Sheard, Diane (Jim) Stardy; 10 Grandchildren: Anna Tomkowiak, Mike (Emily) Tomkowiak, Jeremy (Andrea) Augle, Chad (Krista) Augle, Mat (Teri) Moriva, Jim (Bo Evans) Moriva, Megan Moriva, Anthony Sheard, Annie Sheard, and John Stardy; 10 Great-Grandchildren: Zelda, Ivar, Addisyn, Tyler, Josie, Evan, Abigail, Olivia, Gracie, and Brooke; Sister: Lois Clark, Stepsister: Judy Dillman and Sister-in-law: Ann Kaebisch.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 17, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery will follow the mass. Dean’s family suggest memorials be directed to Karen Sheard to be distributed as per Dean’s wishes.

MOUNT PLEASANT—Michael Pease died on Feb. 11. In his own words “I had a good life and a good wife”, Jody. They were married for 43 years. His son Max (Brittany) and his dog Gus will miss him very much as well as a multitude of family and friends.

Russell B. Glodowski, 64, of Yorkville, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his home following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Kenosha on June 14, 1955, he was the son of Edwin and Rose Marie (nee Mayer) Glodowski. His early life was spent in Racine and he graduated from Union Grove Union High School, Class of 1974. On May 3, 1975 in Somers, Wisconsin, he was united in marriage to Nancy Wilks. Following marriage, they resided in Racine until 1980 when they moved to Union Grove.
Russell worked as a Parks Department foreman for Racine County, retiring in 2010. He was a long-time member with the Racine County Agricultural Society. The Racine County Fair was very important to him, in addition to being a 4-H leader and longtime board member, he enjoyed spending time at the fair and in the information booth talking to many new and old friends. He enjoyed spending time in the Wisconsin Dells area with family and friends. He loved boating and spending time on the water. In retirement he enjoyed crafting and woodworking and showing his projects at local craft fairs. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Russell will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy; children, Angela (Craig) Storey and Lori (John) Heister; grandchildren, Emily Weise and Nicholas Weise; and siblings, Rick Glodowski, Roxane Bates, Audrey Pfeiffer and Alan (Geniene) Glodowski. He is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral Services for Russell will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 4pm at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends can visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm until 3:45pm.
RACINE — Mark W. Sherwood, 70, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
He was born on July 28, 1949. He graduated from Horlick High School.
Mark worked for Western Publishing for over 9 years and then General Thermaldynamics for over 38 years. He enjoyed his free time boating, fishing and shooting pool.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee: Michalski) Sherwood; his daughter, Elizabeth Sherwood and his longtime friend, Michael Ager. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Laverne; his father and step-mother, Wesley and Joyce and his step-son, Allen Jacobson.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2020 for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a service celebrating his life to follow at 12:00 p.m.
