The Racine Symphony Orchestra celebrated its 85th anniversary with an old-fashioned garden party. “Music for a Summer Evening” was held on Aug. 6 at The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread in Wind Point.

The evening included music, of course; elegant hors d’oeuvres and beverages, followed by exceptional desserts. RSO musicians performed at the event as did local jazz favorites Jack Grassel and Jill Jensen, with the gorgeous and serene backdrop of the Wingspread landscape. Those who attended could also enjoy a guided tour of Wingspread and bid on silent and voice auction items.
