UWP to host smart cities conversation June 7

SOMERS — The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Center for Research in Innovation and Smart Cities will host a “Smart Cities Conversation” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 7, via live stream.

The free event features these representatives in a conversation about innovation and partnerships in our community and beyond.

  • Joseph Mariani, Deloitte Consulting research manager, “Smart Cities and Innovation Research.”
  • Lisa Brown, senior national director, Municipal Infrastructure & Smart Cities, North America, Johnson Controls, “Smart Cities Technology.”
  • Racine Mayor Corey Mason, “Winning the Smart Cities Designation.”
  • Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian, “Planning and Placing Initiatives.”
