WIND POINT — The Prairie School, 4050 Lighthouse Drive, will again host numerous camps, classes and workshops as part of its Summer on the Prairie Program.

Open to all area students in preschool through 12th grade, these camps and courses afford campers an opportunity to learn, explore, perform, discover, create and grow on Prairie’s campus.

Summer on the Prairie offers over 60 wide-ranging academic, athletic and artistic opportunities, including: glassblowing, beginners’ disc golf, cartoon academy, dollhouse design, ACT prep and web development 101. Costs vary by class with offerings beginning at $40.

In addition, Prairie also offers Hawks’ Haven Day Camp for children in preschool through eighth grade. This summer day camp runs from 7:15 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Hawks’ Haven will be closed July 1-5 in observance of Independence Day.) Cost for Hawks’ Haven is $260 per week.

Classes and day camp begin Monday, June 10th. Children do not need to be Prairie students to attend. Learn more about Summer on the Prairie classes and Hawks’ Haven Day Camp at www.prairieschool.com.
