MOUNT PLEASANT — Girls Inc. of SE Wisconsin is set to host the GEMS STEM Spring Excursion camp 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 24-25 at Great Lakes Church, 9605 Spring St.
The camp provides middle school girls opportunities to learn about the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in careers. The camp also promotes participation in STEM courses in high school and college.
The GEMS Spring Excursion Camp is geared toward improving students’ academic achievement and social skills.
Workshops may cover areas such as coding, food science, forensics, physics, robotics and environmental science.
