BURLINGTON — In partnership with Penfield Children’s Center and Kohl’s Cares, the “Developing Your Child’s Reading Skills” workshop will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in the Cooper Elementary School gym, 249 Conkey St.
This workshop is geared toward parents and caregivers of children up to age 8. It will focus on the importance of reading to and with your child, identifying and selecting age-appropriate books and tips for raising a reader.
Attendees also will have the opportunity to ask questions related to developing their young child’s reading skills and helpful hand-outs and a reading toolkit will be available to take home.
