WHITEWATER — Bailey Fitzpatrick of Burlington, a graduate of Burlington High School, is one of four seniors on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team who earned National Collegiate Gymnastics Association All-America in Academics honors.
To be recognized, gymnasts must maintain a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, appear on the team’s NCGA squad list for the current year, hold senior status academically and be in their last year of athletic eligibility.

All four gymnasts helped the Warhawks earn their 13th straight trip to the NCGA Championship and post their 10th straight top-three national finish.
Fitzpatrick concluded her career on March 23 as an All-American on uneven bars. She finished as national runner-up in the event with a season-best 9.650. Fitzpatrick, a two-time Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-American and three-year member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Scholastic Honor Roll, is majoring in physical education with an emphasis in health, human performance and recreation and a minor in health promotion.
