RACINE — The Racine Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired that occurred Wednesday night. 

At around 9:44 p.m., police received a call regarding shots being fired near 16th Street and Cleveland Avenue. 

Police received initial information that five to six shots were allegedly heard, but nothing was observed.

No one was reportedly shot during the incident, Lt. David Wohlgemuth of the Racine Police Department said.
