Police: Delivery driver's death likely caused by medical condition

RACINE — Authorities have released the name of the pizza delivery driver found dead last week whose death was previously labeled suspicious.

Ryan Neff, 43, was found dead Wednesday night in his vehicle on the 2000 block of Case Avenue, Sgt. Adam Malacara of the Racine Police Department said Monday.

Malacara said nothing seemed out of the ordinary about the death, but the decedent’s age was factored into why his death had initially been deemed suspicious. Since his death, police learned Neff had a medical condition that may have contributed to his death.

Neff's death is not currently being investigated as a homicide, Malacara said. Police could not say Monday where Neff was from.
