BURLINGTON — A Milwaukee man allegedly stole a car and credit cards.

Anthony S. Stewart-Ratajczyk, 23, was charged with felony counts of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent and personal ID theft for financial gain, three felony counts of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of theft.

According to a criminal complaint:

On Oct. 13, an officer responded to a theft complaint at the 33900 block of Lagoon Drive.

Upon arrival, he spoke to the victim, who said her Audi Q5 was stolen between 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 13. She said that a debit card and three credit cards were in the car as well and that they were used for around $53.

On Oct. 16, the car was recovered in Milwaukee, along with two other stolen cars within six stalls of each other. An officer reviewed video from a BP where one of the cards was used and identified the suspect as Anthony.

On Nov. 5, an interview by Milwaukee Police discovered that Anthony was part of a group that stole cars and sold them.

Anthony was given a $20,000 cash bond in Racine County Circuit court on Thursday.

A preliminary court hearing is set for Nov. 25 at the Racine County Law Enforcement Center, 717 Wisconsin Ave., online court records show.
