RACINE — The Racine Symphony Orchestra will usher in the 2015-16 season with a concert at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Festival Hall, 5 Fifth St. The theme is “Symphony — Serenade — Stunning" and features an eclectic mix of operettas. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Special guest artists for the evening are Greg Berg and Ami Bouterse. Highlights include Webber’s "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Evita" and "Phantom of the Opera," as well as Strauss’ "Overture to Die Fledermaus." The sounds of works by Gilbert and Sullivan, Offenbach and Lehar will also soar through Festival Hall.
Attendees may purchase food and beverages at Festival Hall until the concert begins.
General admission tickets are $23 in advance and $25 at the door. Students 20 and younger receive free general admission. Any active duty or reserve member of the Armed Forces wearing their uniform or with an ID also receive free general admission.
