RACINE — Sixteenth Street Studios, 1405 16th St., presents its first "Juried Exhibition" in its Gallery on 16th through March 29.

This is the first exhibit inviting artists from the community to enter work. A total of 46 items were chosen by juror Chet Griffith from 89 pieces entered by 36 artists. Griffith is owner of Artworks, the Pencillarium and co-owner of Left of the Lake Gallery and Magazine.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday or by appointment. Call 262-637-3958.

The Gallery on 16th exists as the creative exhibit space for the 16th Street Studios resident artists. It functions as a nonprofit entity supported by Arts Wisconsin and an Artseed Grant.
