Cold Stone Creamery: Waffle Tacos
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., — Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating National Taco Day by serving its ice cream in a waffle taco. In addition to the classic waffle bowl or cone, customers can enjoy a plain, dipped or sprinkled waffle taco.
"Why not celebrate National Taco Day at Cold Stone Creamery?" said Sara Schmillen, vice president of marketing at Kahala Brands, parent company of Cold Stone Creamery. "Being able to celebrate a holiday we typically wouldn't is a great way for us to engage in fun ways with our customers and give them some Insta-worthy pictures!"

Fuzzy's Taco Shop: $1 tacos
FORT WORTH, Texas — Fuzzy's Taco Shop, the Baja-style taco joint founded near the TCU college campus in 2003, will offer $1 tacos all day on Thursday, Oct. 4 in celebration of National Taco Day.
From open to close, dine-in guests at participating restaurants can enjoy an endless amount of $1 tacos, from breakfast tacos to signature Baja-style tacos. The selection even includes Fuzzy's Taco Shop's original Baja fish taco, served on a corn tortilla with cilantro, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese and a hint of garlic sauce.
"National Taco Day is one of our favorite days of the year," said Mel Knight, President of Fuzzy's Taco Shop. "After all, 'Taco' is literally our middle name."
Americans consumed nearly 4.5 billion tacos last year alone, and Fuzzy's Taco Shop has accepted the challenge to help increase that number in 2018.
Fuzzy's Taco Shop has 144 restaurants in 19 states with another 17 locations in development.
