RACINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., is offering these programs:

“Anti-Racism Weekly Book Discussion,” 2 p.m. Mondays. Participants will discuss books on race and racism.

Maker Monday, 9 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 14. Attendees may see the 3D printer in action.

Take the Green Lifestyle Challenge, 6 p.m. Monday, May 14. Discuss topics on how to live life more sustainably. Hosted by Greening Greater Racine.

Musical Family Storytime, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15. Parents and children ages 5 and younger may grab a rhythm instrument and sing along.

“Email Basics,” 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 15-16. Come and learn the basics of email in the computer lab. Registration is required.

Family Storytime, 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16. Stories, songs and finger plays for children ages 5 and younger.

Millennial Meet-up, 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Participants will discuss mental health wellness with a focus on anxiety and symptom management.

“This American Life 1900,” 1-3 p.m. Friday, May 18. Christine Brookes, also known as The Literature Lady, will portray Mary Sturges, philanthropist and women’s advocate in this journey back to the turn of the 20th Century. Attendees will learn about Sturges’ life as one of Chicago’s elite, her memories of the Great Chicago Fire, the World Columbian Exposition and more.

Repair Cafe, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19. Volunteer repair experts will be on hand to make possible repairs on broken things people bring to the library.

BURLINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY

BURLINGTON — The Burlington Public Library, 166 E. Jefferson St., is offering these free programs:

“Create and Play,” 10 a.m. Mondays. Children ages 5 and younger can make a creation and stay for playtime.

“Lap-sit,” 10 a.m. Thursdays. Children ages 5 and younger may listen to books, learn finger plays and rhymes, sing and dance.

“Sensory Play,” 10 a.m. Fridays. Children ages 5 and younger may explore activities involving their senses.
