TUCSON, AZ—(formerly of Racine) – Sylvester Augustine Gorelik, age 69, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Sahuarita, Arizona, surrounded with the love of family, on Monday evening, July 2, 2018 and was welcomed through the Golden Gates of Heaven by his wife, Julie; parents, Justin and Cecilia (nee: Bajtos) Gorelik; and sister, Margie Villegas.
Syl died at 5:23 pm – this time signifies in the spiritual text: Thessalonians 5:23 “Now May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of the Lord our Jesus Christ.” This brings peace of knowing that Syl is with the Lord and confirms only that only He knows the end times for each of our lives.
Syl was born in Racine on December 31, 1948 and was a graduate of Washington Park High School. Among his interests, he enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, aerial photography, Green Bay Packers, anything involving nature, playing pool, fishing, watching anything Sci-Fi, and drinking 7 & 7’s. Above all, Syl loved being together with his entire family.
