The public is invited to a free, professional program on family history research using school records at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
School records can enrich any genealogist’s research. This presentation will help you to know what school records could be available and where you can find them. Even if your ancestor didn’t go to school, this presentation will reveal school records where your ancestor just might be mentioned.
Melissa Barker presents the program; followed by presentations of other genealogist's school records research and practical research tips.
The workshop is presented by the Genealogical Society of Burlington, Wisconsin. Those attending are researching ancestors from all around the world, not limited to the Racine/Kenosha/Burlington area, not limited to Wisconsin, or even to the Midwest, but from anywhere in the world.
The program is held at Gateway Center, 496 McCanna Parkway, Burlington, WI 53105
