KENOSHA — Nick Cibrario, author of “Murder in the Mountains” will hold a book signing from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Pollard Gallery, 415 56th St.

This novel is a sequel to his trilogy. His main character, Carl Brecht is an anthropologist who is now married to Barbara. They live in a Chicago suburb with their two children. Brecht decides to return to Nepal with his 18-year-old daughter, Kathy. The story opens with family strife prior to Kathy’s graduation party.

Their problems are pale in comparison to the turmoil taking place in Kathmandu due to Maoist Terrorists approaching the capitol. Upon returning to Nepal, Carl and Kathy don’t expect to get entangled in the assassination of the Royal Family, allegedly by the Crown Prince, a real historical event that took place on June 1, 2001. The plot is complicated since the king and queen were angry with Prince Dependra’s drinking, drugging and engagement to the beautiful Devyani from India.

Cibrario’s “Garden of Kathmandu Trilogy” and “Secrets on the Family Farm” will also be on sale.
