CALEDONIA — Priority Sign, a global manufacturer of signage and brand-identity products, has completed its building expansion in Caledonia Business Park, an expansion that will create 14 new jobs.

Racine County Economic Development Corp. made the announcement Wednesday of the 6,900-square-foot expansion to the company’s 17,000-square-foot building at 8635 Hollander Drive.

The expansion will allow Priority Sign to increase production and improve service to a growing customer base which includes companies such as AT&T, Wells Fargo, Red Robin, Culver’s and BMO Harris Bank.

Founded in 1997, Priority Sign is headquartered in Sheboygan and maintains seven regional offices across the country. Its Caledonia location, formerly Sign Craft, serves as the company’s primary manufacturing plant, producing about one-third of Priority Sign’s output. The employee-owned company currently employs 18 people in Caledonia and expects to add 14 new jobs over three years as a result of the building expansion.

According to Priority Sign CEO and President Ron D’Alessandro, “The investment we are making in this building expansion is a result of our growing business due to the contributions and hard work of our employees that live in this community.”

The Village of Caledonia approved an estimated $48,620 in tax increment financing assistance to help Priority Signs with its expansion plans.

“We are pleased that Priority Sign continues to grow and invest in our community, providing quality job opportunities for area residents,” according to Village of Caledonia Board President Bob Bradley.
