The old soul of Racine can be found in many taverns and bars around the county, but for those looking for a fresh, trendy, modern night out, the Envi Ultra Lounge fills the need.
“It’s a chance to get dressed up and experience something different in Racine,” owner Doug Nicholson said. “You can go anywhere and get a cocktail … we offer unique cocktails.”
For the last five years Envi has been a destination for a crowd in search of a different atmosphere.
Drinks like the Cucumber Cowboy and the Two Basil Sweet Ginger martini — made with North Shore vodka from just over the border in Illinois — have become the spirits of choice for patrons.
The Ishiyaki (food grilled on a hot stone) menu provides a different take on grilling in Racine for those looking to venture outside of their normal tastes. But don’t worry, they also provide soft pretzels, house-made chips and dip, and a chef’s meat and cheese board to share with friends.
On Friday and Saturday nights, a DJ keeps the dance floor busy for anyone looking to bust a move.
