Apr 13, t1 NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING Regarding Proposed Special Assessments for a Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Construction Project Along 4 Mile Road in the Village of Caledonia, Wisconsin The Caledonia Sanitary Sewer and Water Utility Districts, with offices located at 333 4½ Mile Road, Racine, Wisconsin 53402, and the Village of Caledonia, Wisconsin, with its Village Hall located at 5043 Chester Lane, Racine, Wisconsin, have (i) undertaken a construction project to install a sanitary sewer main and a watermain (and related infrastructure) along 4 Mile Road in the Village of Caledonia, from the East Frontage Road approximately 3,600 lineal feet east, and (ii) levy a special assessment, pursuant to the police powers granted to the Village of Caledonia under the provisions of Section 66.0703 of the Wisconsin Statutes, on certain properties benefitted by the project, for a part of the project costs. The properties proposed to be specially assessed for this project are shown in the attached map. On file with the Village Clerk for the Village of Caledonia is a written Special Assessment Report that further describes the project and the specific special assessments being proposed. This Special Assessment Report may be inspected at the Caledonia Village Hall, located at 5043 Chester Lane, Racine, Wisconsin, in the Village Clerk’s office, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (except for time periods the Caledonia Village Hall is otherwise closed). A public hearing regarding the proposed project and proposed special assessments will be held before the Village of Caledonia Board of Trustees at its meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on the date of April 27, 2021, at the Caledonia Village Hall, located at 5043 Chester Lane, Racine, Wisconsin. At this public hearing, all interested persons, and/or their agents or attorneys, may appear before the Village of Caledonia Board of Trustees and be heard concerning (i) the project and proposed special assessments, (ii) the matters contained in a Preliminary Resolution, having Resolution No. 2019-26, regarding this project, and which was adopted by the Caledonia Village Board at its meeting held on March 18, 2019, and (iii) the written Special Assessment Report described above.
