Details for Foster Care Hero

Foster Care Hero March 2019 Meet Ann Maier (Foster Parent since 2012) I became a foster parent when my daughter went off to college. I didn’t want an empty house so that is when I decided to open my home for children who needed a loving family and a place to grow. I enjoy giving them the love and stability they need to help in developing good family relationships. It is at times very challenging and trying but well worth it when you see the impact you make. I encourage any with a big heart and willingness to do so to become a foster parent. Want more information? Next informational session: Tuesday, April 2 at 6:00PM-7:30PM at 1717 Taylor Avenue (262) 638-6356
