Sep 13, t2, 16NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the City Plan Commission onSeptember 25, 2019 at 4:30 P.M.regarding a proposed Conditional Use PermitThe City of Racine Plan Commission has received an application from Veterans of America Motorcycle Club Charities, seeking a conditional use permit to operate a meeting hall and office, classified as a class 1 non-commercial type use, as allowed by Sec. 114-468 of the Municipal Code, on the first floor of an existing building at 1600 Douglas Avenue in a B-2 Community Shopping District. The location is proposed for usage as meeting space, office, storage for events and operations and would be open in the day from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There are typically 15-20 members who attend meetings and the site would host special events for 20-40 people 3-4 times per year. Evening and weekend events would be for various committees of the organization and occur between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PMThe Commission has scheduled a public hearing at which you can appear and be heard.
