Notice is given that the Commissioner of Public Works will receive sealed bids for the following work: CONTRACT 2021050-TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS-16TH ST. & LATHROP AVE Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, on the 7th of July, 2021. This project is valued between $150,000-$200,000. Project Description: Contractor will salvage the existing poles and traffic control equipment at 16th Street and Lathrop Avenue. They will bore new conduit, install new pull boxes, pull new cable, and install a new control cabinet. They will pour new concrete bases and erect a combination of new light/traffic poles and salvaged traffic poles. They will then install a combination of new and salvaged traffic control equipment. Some sidewalk, pedestrian ramp, curb and gutter construction is required. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Bidders must be pre-qualified with City of Racine to qualify to bid.
