Deadmann’s Saloon sets two city records
The Deadmann’s Saloon team of Scott Salinas, Cory Landreman, Brandon Lipari and Ben Betchkal set two Greater Racine Area USBC Bowling Association records during league play Tuesday night at Old Settler’s Bowling Center in Union Grove.
In the Miller 64 Scratch League, Landreman shot 769, Salinas had 762, Betchkal had 745 and Lipari had 701 for a 2,977 four-man team series, breaking the record of 2,895 set April 4, 2016 at The Lanes on 20 by Lieunghs On Lathrop. The four also shot 1,074 in their first game, breaking the record of 1,054 set less than two weeks ago by Erickson’s Auto Trim, also at The Lanes.
There were also three honor scores in the league, led by a 753 women’s national honor series by Georgette Albert. Richard Pansch and Jim Wegner each had a 300 game.
At Castle Lanes Tuesday, Sam Slaasted rolled his 14th 300 game during a 762 series in the Miller Classic Doubles League and Scott O’Brien had a 299 game in a 762 series in the V.F.W. League.
In the Tuesday Night Mixed League at Towne & Country Lanes in Burlington, Kimberly Enright rolled a career-high 757 series and Kristi Dangutis shot a 701.
Monday at Hillside Lanes, Jenny Wonders rolled a 700 series in the Classic 3 Man League.
