The Catholic Central High School girls volleyball team lost the first game Thursday against Racine Lutheran, but came back strong to win a Metro Classic Conference match 19-25, 25-11, 25-19, 25-23 at Burlington.

Catholic Central coach Mae-Mae Oberhofer said her team made some adjustments after the first game and got back in rhythm.

Abby Tweet and Tori Kempken led the offense with seven kills, Oliva Sobbe had 26 assists, Mackenzie Kyle had six aces and Maddie Joski had a team-high 19 digs for the Lady Toppers (8-6 matches, 4-0 MCC).

Carissa Naegeli (13) and Julia Rosenquist (12) combined for 25 kills for Lutheran and Sarah Aumann had 19 assists, 22 digs and three aces.
