The Burlington High School boys volleyball team had four of the seven first-team selections and led the way on the All-Southern Lakes Conference team.

The SLC-champion Demons’ first-team selections were senior outside hitter Drew Pesick, junior outside hitter Malik Tiedt, junior libero Trey Krause and sophomore setter David Paul.

St. Catherine’s/Racine Lutheran had one first-team selection, junior middle hitter Quinn Cafferty.

Second-team honors went to senior outside hitter Daxton Cramer and senior setter/outside hitter Eli Scheckel of Union Grove, sophomore outside hitter Evan Schuster of St. Catherine’s/Racine Lutheran and junior middle hitter Andy Ellingham of Burlington. Senior libero Jack Polick of Westosha Central was the SLC Player of the Year.

BOYS SOCCER: Union Grove was the only county team with first-team All-SLC selections and the three are sophomore defender Sawyer Richardson, senior goalkeeper Michael Polzin and sophomore at-large player Logan Farrington.

Second-team selections were senior forward Cole Anderson and sophomore midfielder Christian Lentz of Union Grove, senior midfielder Jarred Kohout of Burlington and junior goalkeeper Michael Hyland of Waterford. Senior forwards Payton Aranda of Lake Geneva Badger and Jason Cano of Delavan-Darien were the SLC Co-Players of the Year.

CROSS COUNTRY: County schools earned a combined six places on the All-SLC boys and girls first teams.

For the boys, first-team runners were Waterford seniors Josh Butscher and Sean Pritchard, Burlington junior Kyle DeRosier and Union Grove sophomore Kevin Hall. Girls first-teamers were Waterford freshman Kelsey Radobicky and Union Grove senior Abby Martin. Second-team selections were Waterford seniors Ian Marino and Adam Schubring, and junior Ian Williams for the boys and Waterford senior Haleigh Reindl and Union Grove sophomore Riley Calouette for the girls.

The respective SLC boys and girls Athletes of the Year were Badger senior Gustavo Gordillo and Delavan-Darien senior Erin Sorg.

GIRLS GOLF: Union Grove had two first-team All-SLC selections in seniors Jackie Bianchi and Megan Koch, and Waterford had one selection in junior Aubrie Torhorst.

Earning second-team honors were Union Grove senior Sydney Staaden, Burlington senior Kya Kafar and Waterford senior Maddy Anderson. Lake Geneva Badger sophomore Holly Murphy was the SLC Player of the Year.

GIRLS TENNIS: Burlington and Union Grove combined for four All-SLC spots First-team selections were Burlington junior singles player May Jagodzinski and the Union Grove doubles team of junior Chloe Woods and sophomore Kayla Maurer.

Second-team honors went to Union Grove senior singles player Nixie Grajera and the Burlington doubles team of seniors Adriana Castillo and Josie Klein.

Wilmot junior singles player Bianca Anderson was the SLC Player of the Year.
