Four members of the UW-Parkside women’s soccer team were named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team.

Kaela Hoecherl, Jasmine Espino and Emily Konior were named to the second team, while freshman goalkeeper Mallory Geurts was named to the third team.

Hoecherl, a redshirt junior, started all 18 regular-season games for the Rangers and led the team in goals (eight) and points (17). Five of her eight goals were game-winners.

Espino, a redshirt senior, started all 18 games and had four goals and three assists. Three of her goals were game-winners.

Konior, a junior, earned all-GLVC honors for the second time. Konior started 17 games, was second on the team in goals (six) and points (13) and anchored a baseline that posted 10 shutouts.

Geurts started all 18 games, making 65 saves and earning 10 shutouts. Geurts had a save percentage of .844 and a goals-against average of 0.65.

The Rangers (13-3-3) will play Quincy at 1 p.m. Sunday at Quincy, Ill., in the GLVC Tournament championship game.
