The Carthage College men’s volleyball rolled in two matches Saturday, beating both North Central and Augustana 3-0 in Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League action at Kenosha.
In the first match, the Red Men, ranked third in the AVCA NCAA Division III poll, beat North Central 25-15, 27-25, 25-23. Carthage had an easier time in the second match, beating Augustana 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.
The Red Men had a balanced attack against North Central with 13 kills by Evan Walsh, 12 by Mason Moore and Zach Lillig with 11. Against Augustana, Moore had 17 kills and Walsh had 13. Matt Reinsel had 75 assists (42 against North Central, 33 against Augustana.

UW-PARKSIDE: The Ranger men’s distance medley relay of Jacob Petri, Kiandre Henderson, Jacob Pigeon and Trevor Legg finished in 10:06.06 and broke the school record in the event by 0.12 seconds at the Grand Valley State BIG Meet at Allendale, Mich.
Rhashad Gray finished eighth in the 60 meters (7.08) and James Funteas Jr. was seventh in the 800 in a personal-best 1:55.26.
Friday, Tavian Stewart was fifth in the long jump.
For the Parkside women, Park High School graduate Amanda Johnson was 13th in the 3,000 and Jada Williams was eighth in the 400.
