TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Dawel Lugo drove in Mikie Mahtook with a sacrifice fly in the first inning, leading the Toledo Mud Hens to a 3-1 win over the Durham Bulls in a game that was called early on Monday.
The sacrifice fly by Lugo, part of a two-run inning, gave the Mud Hens a 1-0 lead before Christin Stewart drew a bases-loaded walk later in the inning.
After Toledo added a run in the third on a double by Stewart, the Bulls cut into the deficit in the fourth inning when Justin Williams hit an RBI single, driving in Brandon Snyder.
Joshua Turley (1-0) got the win in relief while Durham starter Anthony Banda (2-1) took the loss in the International League game. Zac Reininger recorded his third save of the season.
Jason Coats doubled and singled, also stealing a base for the Bulls.
