LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) -- Vince Fernandez hit two solo homers as the Lancaster JetHawks topped the Visalia Rawhide 4-2 on Wednesday.

Max George homered and doubled for Lancaster.

Visalia tied the game 2-2 in the fourth after Pavin Smith hit an RBI triple, bringing home Jake Lamb.

Lancaster answered in the bottom of the frame when Fernandez hit a solo home run.

The JetHawks tacked on another run in the fifth when George hit a solo home run.

Lancaster right-hander Rico Garcia (5-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing two runs on five hits over six innings. Opposing starter Riley Smith (2-3) took the loss in the California League game after allowing four runs and six hits over five innings. Reid Humphreys retired the side in order for his ninth save of the season.

Lancaster improved to 4-1 against Visalia this season.
