UNION GROVE -- The Racine County Fair runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds on Highway 11. The annual event features traditional attractions such as tractor pulls, livestock judging, horse shows and 4-H events as well as country music, bingo and children's activities.

Fair hours are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Admission is $6 for adults ages 14 and older, $4 children ages 8-13, and free for chldren 7 and under. Seniors 62 and older are admitted for $5 today only. Parking is free; special parking is available for seniors and the handicapped.

Here's a rundown of fair highlights:

DAILY

  • Grandpa Crachet -- 1, 3 and 6 p.m.
  • High Action Bikes -- 2,4 and 7 p.m.
  • Chain Saw Carver
  • "Cousin Otto" the Clown
  • Bingo

THURSDAY

  • 8 a.m. -- Rooster Crowing Contest, Small Animal Building
  • 9 a.m. -- Junior Class judging: swine, horse and pony, rabbits.
  • 9:30 a.m. -- Children's Activities, Children's Area
  • 1 p.m. -- Racine Unified Summer Show Band, Showcase Stage
  • 1:30 p.m. -- Kiddie Tractor Pull, Grandstand
  • 2 p.m. -- Open Class judging: rabbits.
  • 6 p.m. -- Open Class Style Show, Park Pavilion
  • 7 p.m. -- Big Hat World Champion Rodeo, Grandstand
  • 7 p.m. -- 4-H Style Show, Showcase Stage

FRIDAY

  • 9 a.m. -- Junior Class judging: Beef, sheep, goats, horse clinic and gymkhana, poultry.
  • 12:30 p.m. -- Big Hat World Champion Rodeo, Grandstand
  • 1-4 p.m. -- 4-H Talent, Showcase Stage
  • 2 p.m. -- Open Class judging: Goats, beef, sheep, flower arrangements.
  • 6 p.m. -- Antique Tractor Parade, Grandstand
  • 6 p.m. -- 4-H Dog Obedience Demonstration, Showcase Stage
  • 6:30 p.m. -- Tractor and Truck Pull, Grandstand

SATURDAY

  • 9 a.m. -- Horse Fun Show, Arena
  • 9:30 a.m. -- Livestock Auction, Show & Sale Arena
  • 1 p.m. -- Draft Horse Pulling Contest, Grandstand
  • 1-4 p.m. -- 4-H Talent, Showcase Stage
  • 6:30 p.m. -- Kinleys, Grandstand
  • 8:30 p.m. -- Black Hawk, Grandstand

SUNDAY

  • 8 a.m. -- Pioneer Open Horse Show, Arena
  • 9:30 a.m. -- Garden Tractor Pull
  • 12 p.m. -- Fur, Feather and Wether Meat Sale, Small Animal Building
  • 12 p.m. -- Outdoor Grill Cooking Contests, Park Pavilion
  • 12:30 p.m. -- Draft Horse Pulling Contest, Grandstand
  • 1:30 p.m. -- Fun & Fashionable Sheep Contest, Show & Sale Ring
  • 2 p.m. -- Hay Bale-Throwing Contest, Dairy, Beef Barn
  • 2:30 p.m. -- Favorite Pie Contest & Auction, Park Pavilion
  • 3 p.m. -- John Anderson's Demolition Derby, Grandstand
  • 3 p.m. -- 4-H Style Show, Showcase Stage
