As a supporter of the Great Lakes Compact and a staunch opponent of the Waukesha Diversion, Mason is the one that will make certain that the Root River is not adversely affected by Waukesha's return flow (now that we are stuck with it).
As a founding member of the Root River Council, Mason supports their goals of creating sustainable economic development along the River in the city and improved recreational opportunities in the river parks upstream, with public access and improved water quality.
With Mason, we can create green jobs here in Racine — jobs in clean energy, recycled materials, small-scale agriculture, green building design and construction, are all possibilities.
Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters has rated Cory 100 percent for his votes to promote clean air, clean water and clean energy. This is the vision I want for Racine ... moving us forward into the 21st Century.
