I have lived in Sturtevant for over 30 years and can remember when we were fortunate to have bus service through Sturtevant, but we haven't had that service for years now.
With Foxconn being built here soon, there is sure to be a need for it. In my opinion, public transportation is vastly more important than a skateboard park and with an aquatic center being built where Pritchard Park once stood, the kids could use the bus to get there and adults could use the bus to get to jobs at Foxconn and whatever job opportunities that are and will be out that way.
Another thing Sturtevant could use is an extension of the library instead of a skateboard park. A library with a learning center would be far more valuable than a skateboard park.
