How is it that both political parties claim to be transparent and willing to work with the other, yet when it comes to matters they are about to vote on, somehow they suddenly forget or simply forsake those claims? Do they really think voters will not hold them accountable for such dishonest, biased governing? How is it that our media, which claims to be fair and just, almost always reports the news in a subjective, partisan manner leaving out certain pieces of information that are crucial to the story? Do they really believe people are that gullible and uninformed? Can you see why Americans distrust those in government and those reporting the news because they are clearly telling only half the story, and the other half they either deny or conceal? Is there any wonder why so many Americans now accept half-truths as being the truth?

Speaking of truth, do you know any politicians currently serving this country that are sincerely seeking the truth? Are any of them willing to admit they and/or their party does not have all the answers and that sometimes the other side has a better plan? Do any of them understand what it means to compromise, and do they realize that when it is actually done, it has amazing results? Would you agree that truth in every situation is only found when the pros and cons of both sides of an issue are first appreciated, then openly discussed and finally through negotiation agreed-upon?
