Expect to see a gigantic White Elephant along I-94 in Racine County, namely Foxconn in the near future. Foxconn just announced that Apple Computer is their largest, very best customer. Also, Apple just announced that they were going to begin to manufacture their own I-Phones and computer screens, now made by Foxconn.
The land that was taken from the owners was taken under the eminent domain federal law, for the "common good," not for a private company.
Millions of gallons of fresh water will be drawn daily, and unlawfully from Lake Michigan to be used in the Foxconn facility, some of which will be returned to the lake, polluted.
Just in. It has been determined recently that the new Foxconn Campus, and additional vehicular traffic, will emit large amounts of polluted air, affecting the quality of life for those of us living in towns and cities nearby. So much for breathing clean, fresh air while living in the area.
Millions of dollars will be spent per employee job, to replace Foxconn Korean jobs at $2 per hour. The new jobs here will pay over $20 per hour.
As an example of what might happen here, Motorola Electronics built a new facility in northern Illinois 10 years ago. As of today, this facility remains empty.
When will this insanity end?
