I have lived in Sandy Weidner's neighborhood for over 40 years. Actually, I am only a stones throw away from her home.
I have had many opportunities to speak with her in person about my concerns. I was a supporter for her mayoral run based on her performance in her current position. She is not afraid to ask the tough questions when it comes to how the City Council decides how projects that are supposed to improve Racine's future are handled.
There have been several failed attempts in the not to distant past. We need a strong voice on the council to keep taxpayers from assuming any liability these programs might create. We need to be heard as citizens of Racine.
We have a right to question what our city council has in mind for our future.
Sandy has protected that right in the past, and I will do what I can to make sure she continues to protect that right in the future. We all have a voice and Sandy will be sure it is heard. Get out and vote for Sandy Weidner on April 3rd.
