Time. Age. Race. These are all man-made concepts, yet we needlessly waste our lives obsessing about them. We allow these ideas to rule and ruin our existence. How profoundly sad because science has proven that these concepts aren't even real.

Time is relative. Time is different in outer space than it is on earth. Neuroscientists have proven that an aging brain does not have to atrophy; in fact, it can improve. Some people in their 80s and 90s are athletes who run marathons and weight lift. DNA analysis shows that we all have one common ancestor who lived in Africa.

And yet, we are so stressed about the clock that we develop "hurry sickness" which results in high blood pressure, heart disease, depression, etc. People mutilate their bodies with plastic surgery to hide their "age." And worst of all, in 2017, we are still having race riots and the KKK is alive and well.

I believe that the human race is still evolving. I imagine a day when we will be free of the oppressiveness of these concepts. Someday, we will not be slaves to the clock. We won't define ourselves according to our birthdates. We will call ourselves members of the human race, not black or white or whatever.

Once I accepted that time, age and race are false ideas, I became free.
