It appears there will be a number of interesting choices for voters in local spring elections. City of Racine Sixth District residents may have a sense of deja vu when they go to the polls.
You probably recall that Jen Adamski-Torres ran for this aldermanic seat in 2016. When she didn't win, Jen continued her dedication to the community with her involvement and participation in numerous initiatives and organizations. The incumbent alderman has been in this seat for over 17 years and after losing the mayoral race, admitted she was tired of beating her head against a wall. This sentiment doesn't seem to be aligned with a commitment to serve constituents as an effective member of the City Council. Clearly it is time for a change. Jen Adamski-Torres is a creative and hard working business professional who made a choice to live in Racine. She will identify economic opportunities and encourage business attraction. Jen will be an involved and dedicated representative of the sixth district. She will work collaboratively with her colleagues.
Vote for an alderman who will bring enthusiasm and a fresh vision to city government. Vote for Jen Adamski-Torres on April 3.
