Although I hate to admit it, President Trump was correct when he says that he makes more telephone calls to the families of military persons killed in the line of duty. George Washington made no telephone calls to such families. Thomas Jefferson made no such calls. James Madison made no such calls in the War of 1812, nor did President Polk in the wars out west. You the reader realize they didn't have a telephone then.
On a slightly different subject, when I kneel in church, it is a profoundly respectful gesture. If anyone were to suggest that I should not be able to do so, I would be extremely disturbed and resentful. If it is an acceptable action in church, why can’t we accept it in that other American “religion” the NFL?
