Senator Ron Johnson refused to hold town hall meetings during the healthcare debate because he claimed that “paid provocateurs” would disrupt these gatherings. However, none of these so-called troublemakers was ever identified. More recently the Senator claimed he had knowledge of a “secret society,” one that provided clear evidence of “corruption at the highest levels of the FBI.” The Senator also went so far as to say he had a “secret informant” but refused to name who that might be. It was subsequently proven that the so-called “society” was part of a farce and had absolutely no basis in fact. The Senator seems beset by visions of shadowy figures and evildoers lurking everywhere. Perhaps the people of Wisconsin could ante up and get Mr. Johnson a night light, so he won’t have to be scared of the dark.
