RACINE — Approximately 4,900 Racine customers were without power for a little over an hour Thursday afternoon, according to We Energies.
Around 12:20 p.m., We Energies was made aware of a power outage in the area roughly bordered by Yout Street, South 20th Street, Obsborne Boulevard and east to the lake, Cathy Schulze, a We Energies spokesperson said.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. Thursday, power was restored to customers, Schulze said.
According to We Energies, the outage, which lasted approximately 75 minutes, was caused by an equipment problem.
