RACINE — Nominations are open for the Racine County Workforce Development Board’s Apollo Award, which recognizes the accomplishments of a new and innovative Racine County business or business team.
Nominees must have achieved success in introducing a new business, product or service with a unique approach. The business or business team must also currently contribute to the economic growth of Racine County and have a plan in place for sustained, long-term success.
The honoree will be recognized at the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce Annual Business Awards dinner on Nov. 9 at Roma Lodge, where they will receive a $2,000 award to be used in the areas of marketing, product development, research or sustainability.
Nominate a new and innovative business by submitting the nomination materials by Sept. 29.
