KENOSHA COUNTY — As part of the Interstate 94 north-south freeway project, Interstate 94 is being resurfaced from Wisconsin 142 to County KR in Kenosha County. Work started Monday.
Interstate 94 is restricted to two lanes in each direction during the day and one lane in each direction overnight. These lane restrictions extend the existing WI 50-WI 142 work zone north to County KR. The lane closures are expected to last until early July.
All Interstate 94 east (southbound) lanes will be open between noon on Friday, May 24 until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28 for the Memorial Day holiday.
All closures are weather-dependent and subject to change. Visit www.plan94.org for more information about the Interstate 94 north-south freeway project.
