RACINE — The Racine Unified School District is scheduled to host its third annual Family Empowerment Day Saturday, April 28.
RUSD will open its doors to the entire community for this free event, during which families will enjoy food, refreshments, give-aways, educational activities and more.
Volunteers including high school juniors or seniors, local high school clubs and/or community agency employees are needed to make this event a success. Volunteers are needed in two-hour increments beginning at 8 a.m. through 4 p.m., or volunteer to help the entire day.
Volunteers are also needed to help set up the day before the event, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27.
